Counseling & Health Services

Our Counseling and Health Services team helps students stay healthy, safe, and ready to learn. We support students’ social, emotional, physical, and academic needs so they can do their best in school.

 

School Counseling Services Our school counselors work with students to help them grow and succeed. We offer:

  • Individual and group counseling for social and emotional support

  • Help with academic planning, study skills, and goal setting

  • College and career guidance, including applications and planning for life after high school

  • Short‑term support during difficult situations

  • Communication with families, teachers, and community programs to support student needs

 

School Health Services School health services make sure students are healthy and able to learn each day. These services include:

  • A licensed school nurse available during the school day

  • Care for injuries or sudden illness

  • Support for students with chronic health conditions, based on medical instructions

  • Safe administration of medications with the required forms

  • Vision, hearing, and other required health screenings

  • Information about immunization requirements and health forms

 

Wellness and Prevention Programs Our school offers programs that help students make healthy choices and feel supported. These may include:

  • Social‑emotional learning activities

  • Bullying prevention and reporting procedures

  • Attendance and engagement support

  • Health lessons about nutrition, hygiene, and overall wellness

 

Family and Community Partnership Families play an important role in students' well‑being. The school provides information, resources, and referrals to community organizations when students need extra support.
