The 2026–2027 Youth Action 50 Program offers New York City students a unique opportunity to learn about law, advocacy, juvenile justice, mental health, and community engagement through the NYC Law Department's Family Court Division. Participants will explore legal career pathways, develop leadership skills, and may receive up to $1,000 to support a community action project, making this a valuable opportunity for students interested in creating positive change in their communities.

The Creative Urban Projects (CUP) After-School Program offers students the opportunity to use art and design to explore issues affecting New York City communities. Beginning on November 10, students will work with a professional artist, participate in field trips and creative projects, and develop skills in research, collaboration, and problem-solving. This program is ideal for students who want to combine creativity with community engagement and real-world learning.

The Einstein Enrichment Program (EEP) offers Bronx high school students an opportunity to explore careers in medicine and science through mentorship, workshops, hands-on activities, college readiness programs, and networking with healthcare professionals and medical students. Students with a strong academic record and an interest in healthcare are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this valuable pathway toward future careers in medicine, research, and public health.

The New York Botanical Garden's Explainer Program Open House provides students with an opportunity to learn about a unique internship program focused on science, environmental education, and community engagement. Attendees can meet current participants, learn about the application process, and discover how the program helps students develop leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and gain hands-on experience in environmental education.

The American Museum of Natural History's Science Research Mentoring Program (SRMP) offers 10th and 11th grade students an opportunity to work alongside professional scientists on year-long research projects in a variety of STEM fields. Participants receive hands-on research experience, mentorship, professional development, and a $2,500 stipend, making SRMP an outstanding opportunity for students interested in science, technology, and future STEM careers.
