Drama at The Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice: A Stage for Every Voice
The Drama program at the Bronx School for Law, Government & Justice gives students a space to step into new roles, build confidence, and discover the power of storytelling. In this dynamic class, students explore acting, movement, improvisation, and script work—learning not only how to perform, but how to communicate, collaborate, and express themselves with purpose.
Drama at The Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice is more than memorizing lines. It’s a place where students learn to take creative risks, support one another, and use performance as a tool for empathy and understanding. Whether they’re bringing a character to life, crafting scenes with their peers, or analyzing the themes behind a play, students gain skills that extend far beyond the stage.
The program is led by Ms. Phalo Davis, whose passion for theatre and dedication to student growth shape a classroom environment that is both welcoming and inspiring. Under her guidance, students are encouraged to find their voice, embrace creativity, and shine in ways they never expected.
Drama is a vibrant, expressive community, one where every story matters and every student has a place in the spotlight.
