Apply to High School

1. Apply Through MySchools

All NYC high school applications are submitted through the NYC MySchools portal, where families can explore programs and add LGJ to their list of choices.

2. Rank LGJ on Your Application

LGJ is a District 9 high school serving grades 9–12. Families should rank it according to their preference when submitting their high school application.

3. Submit the Application by the DOE Deadline

The NYC Department of Education sets the high school application window each year (typically October–December). Families must submit their application before the official deadline.

4. Wait for Offer Notifications

After applications close, the DOE processes placements. Students receive their high school offer in the spring through their MySchools account.

5. Accept Your Offer

Families confirm their seat through MySchools or with support from the school once offers are released.
