LGJ Pink Dress Down Day Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

The Bronx School for Law, Government, and Justice invites students and staff to participate in our Pink Dress Down Day on Friday, October 23 in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This school-wide event is an opportunity for our community to come together, show support for those affected by breast cancer, and raise awareness about the importance of education, early detection, and research.

Students are encouraged to wear pink and participate in the dress down day by making a donation. The minimum donation for students is $1, while staff members are asked to contribute $5. Participants will receive a dress down wristband after making their donation.

Donations will be collected during lunch periods and at school entry. Collection began on Tuesday, October 13 and will continue through Wednesday, October 21.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience of individuals and families impacted by breast cancer. By wearing pink and contributing to this cause, the LGJ community can help spread awareness while demonstrating compassion and support.
