October 6, 2026 | High School Application Window Opens
The High School Application Window officially opens for current middle school students interested in attending LGJ as high school students during our 31st school year. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey for students and families as they explore their future educational opportunities and take the next step toward becoming part of the LGJ high school community.
October 7, 2026 | Senior Night Information Session
Senior students and their families are invited to attend our Senior Night Information Session. This event will provide valuable information regarding graduation requirements, important deadlines, senior activities, and post-secondary planning to help ensure a successful final year at LGJ.
October 10, 2026 | 8th Grade High School Information Session
Current 8th-grade students and their families are encouraged to attend our High School Information Session. This event offers an opportunity to learn more about LGJ's high school programs, academic offerings, extracurricular opportunities, and the admissions process.
October 12, 2026 | No School
There will be no school in observance of Italian Heritage Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day. We encourage students and families to take time to reflect on and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of these communities.
October 21, 2026 | Advisory Day
Students will participate in Advisory Day, a dedicated opportunity to strengthen connections with peers and staff, reflect on personal and academic goals, and engage in activities that support social and emotional growth.
October 30, 2026 | Career Exploration Assessment
Students will complete the Career Exploration Assessment, an important tool designed to help them identify their interests, strengths, and potential career pathways. This experience supports informed decision-making as students begin thinking about their futures beyond LGJ.
October 30, 2026 | Halloween Party
To close out the month, students will enjoy our annual Halloween Party. This exciting event will provide an opportunity for students to celebrate with friends, participate in fun activities, and continue building the strong sense of community that makes LGJ special.
As we observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we encourage our school community to support awareness, education, and hope. We look forward to an October filled with learning, growth, exploration, and celebration as we continue another successful year at LGJ.
