Designed for middle school students, ASPIRA provides a fun and engaging environment after school while offering opportunities to participate in a variety of sports and activities. Students can join teams such as flag football, baseball, and many more, helping them build teamwork, leadership skills, and school pride.
September 21, 2026 | No School - Yom Kippur
There will be no school on Monday, September 21, in observance of Yom Kippur. We wish all who celebrate a meaningful and peaceful holiday.
September 22-24, 2026 | MAP Testing
Students will participate in MAP Testing from Tuesday, September 22 through Thursday, September 24. These assessments help teachers understand each student's academic progress and provide valuable information that supports personalized learning throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to arrive on time, get plenty of rest, and do their best.
September 24, 2026 | Curriculum Night
On Thursday, September 24, LGJ will welcome parents and guardians for our annual Curriculum Night. This special event gives families the opportunity to experience a real walkthrough of their child's daily schedule and visit the classrooms where learning takes place each day.
Curriculum Night provides parents with a firsthand look at what LGJ has to offer, while also allowing them to meet teachers and gain insight into the engaging lessons, dedication, and positive energy that our educators bring to their classrooms every day. We encourage all families to attend and become active partners in their child's educational journey.
As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and begin this historic 30th year at LGJ, we look forward to a month filled with learning, community, and school spirit. Here's to a fantastic start to the 2026-2027 school year!
