Six LGJ Seniors Earn Prestigious Macaulay Honors College Full Scholarships

The Bronx School for Law Government & Justice (LGJ) is celebrating a historic academic milestone: six senior students have been offered full scholarships through The Macaulay Honors College at the City University of New York (CUNY)

This year’s recipients are:

  • Anneris C

  • Elianny C

  • Emily C

  • Jayden G

  • Clarisa J

  • Gabriela V

Macaulay Honors College is known for its rigorous admissions process, drawing top-performing applicants from across New York City. Students selected for this program receive full tuition, access to exclusive seminars, academic and cultural enrichment opportunities, and participation in a vibrant cohort of scholars across eight CUNY campuses. The program also provides funding for study abroad, research, and internships, making it one of the most sought‑after scholarships available to NYC students.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is its rarity. Last year, LGJ celebrated two Macaulay scholarship recipients,Yassin Nikiema and Anna Perez, marking a major accomplishment for the school. This year, LGJ has tripled that number, with six students receiving offers, which is the highest number of Macaulay Honors College full scholarship offers in LGJ’s history.

All six students are currently enrolled in AP Government, and received letters of recommendation from their teachers. Their success reflects not only their academic excellence but also their leadership, resilience, and commitment to their futures.

LGJ congratulates these scholars on this extraordinary accomplishment and looks forward to seeing the impact they will make as members of the Macaulay Honors College community.
