Congratulations to Dariel, who has been selected to participate in the Baseball Junior Showcase, an event that highlights some of the top young baseball players from across New York City.
The showcase brings together talented student-athletes to compete, demonstrate their skills, and be evaluated through a series of baseball-specific measurements and drills. Being selected for this event is an accomplishment that reflects Dariel's hard work, dedication, and commitment to improving his game.
One of the standout performances from Dariel during the showcase evaluations came during the batting assessment, where he recorded an impressive 74 mph exit velocity off a batting tee. Exit velocity measures the speed of the ball as it leaves the bat and is an important metric used by coaches and scouts to evaluate hitting strength and potential.
Dariel's strong showing demonstrates both his power at the plate and his ability to compete alongside some of the city's best young baseball players. Earning an invitation to the Baseball Junior Showcase places him among an elite group of athletes who are working to take their game to the next level.
As Dariel continues to develop his skills, this achievement serves as another milestone in what promises to be an exciting baseball journey. The entire LGJ community is proud of his accomplishment and looks forward to following his future success both on and off the field.
Congratulations, Dariel, on representing your community and showcasing your talent among New York City's best young baseball players!
