The Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice proudly hosted its Annual Sports Awards Ceremony, a night dedicated to celebrating the hard work, dedication, and achievements of its student-athletes, especially the graduating seniors who helped make this year one of the most successful and historic in school history.
Led by Athletic Director Mr. Nagel, the ceremony highlighted outstanding individual performances, team contributions, and record-breaking accomplishments across multiple sports programs.
A Historic Year of Athletic Excellence
This year marked an unforgettable chapter in LGJ athletics, with several athletes earning PSAL recognition and leading their divisions in key statistical categories:
- Melianys B. made school history by breaking the softball home run record while also leading the city in RBIs and triples.
- Gabriela V. earned recognition for leading the division in hits, showcasing consistency and offensive strength.
- Santiago O. dominated in boys volleyball, finishing as the division leader in kills.
These accomplishments reflect the growing competitiveness and talent within LGJ’s athletic programs.
