Model United Nations (MUN) Program
Model United Nations (MUN) Program
The LGJ Model United Nations program gives students the opportunity to step into the role of global leaders and diplomats. Through research, debate, and collaborative problem‑solving, students explore real‑world international issues while developing confidence, public‑speaking skills, and a deeper understanding of global affairs.
Participants represent countries from around the world, craft resolutions, negotiate with peers, and work together to address challenges such as human rights, climate change, global security, and economic development. Our MUN team attends conferences across the city, where students engage with delegates from other schools and experience the excitement of high‑level debate.
The program is designed to help students:
-
Strengthen critical thinking and analytical skills
-
Build persuasive writing and public‑speaking abilities
-
Learn diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership
-
Gain a global perspective on current events
-
Collaborate with peers in a professional, academic setting
Whether students dream of careers in law, government, international relations, or simply want to grow as thinkers and leaders, Model UN offers a transformative experience that prepares them for the world beyond high school.
