Model United Nations (MUN) Program

The LGJ Model United Nations program gives students the opportunity to step into the role of global leaders and diplomats. Through research, debate, and collaborative problem‑solving, students explore real‑world international issues while developing confidence, public‑speaking skills, and a deeper understanding of global affairs.

Participants represent countries from around the world, craft resolutions, negotiate with peers, and work together to address challenges such as human rights, climate change, global security, and economic development. Our MUN team attends conferences across the city, where students engage with delegates from other schools and experience the excitement of high‑level debate.

The program is designed to help students:

Strengthen critical thinking and analytical skills
Build persuasive writing and public‑speaking abilities
Learn diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership
Gain a global perspective on current events

Youth Court

Youth Court is a leadership and restorative justice program that empowers students to take an active role in supporting a positive school community. Participants are trained to serve in roles such as jurors, advocates, and judges, helping their peers reflect on choices, repair harm, and learn from their actions. The program builds communication skills, responsibility, and empathy while giving students a meaningful voice in promoting fairness and accountability.
